hi all
finished a job over 3 weeks ago, got a call from company i subby to,
theres a scratch on one of the chrome trims
its a gemini bright chrome, scratch isnt too deep
any thoughts on how to polish it out
since i left theres been electricians ,painters joiners plumbers and floor layers.
but its my problem. i would never install a scratched trim cos of the chew to change em

Could you Try a chrome polishing compound, poss get from hardware store or halfords , wheel trim restorer . Test it as may change colour and then you may end up doing all

merit, i'm pretty sure it will have to be a re-fit.

Chrome trim is really 'anodised aluminium'. If you rub away at the surface you will come to the dull aluminium underneath. It will look a lot worse than it already is.

Would you ever fit a scratched tile? No.
Would you ever fit a scratched tile trim? No.

..........because you know that to correct it post grouting will cost you in time & money.

The scratch is 100% not your doing.
