hiya peeps,just been to price a job ,old trav tiles on a concrete floor

he dosent want them takin up,nor do i:thumbsup:

would SBR bond be ok after cleaning,then tile,cheers steve

hiya jay ,why would u remove them mate ? theres no hieght issue ,its a solid concrete floor? been down a long time?

wb, he says he`s fed up with with trying to keep em clean,

so any input on the primer lads?

who knows , its been down a long time, tapping it allover with the handle of my lump hammer its as solid as a solid thing tho:thumbsup:

i might give it a go with grimex then when dry sbr bond,cheers mate

problem being if sealed and you tile over it will seperate as the sealer is to stop penetration which a primer needs to do so you run a risk of failure so to do job right with no comebacks best to remove as tiling over sealers is the same as tiling over paint not recomended good luck:8:

sugar soap em down to remove old grease dirt and stuff, there is no need to prime at all unless they are very porus like cotta ?
