Hi there, after a little help.
Just installed a picture wall with tiles in my bathroom but noticed during fitting that 2 very similar tiles are in fact the same! I have managed to get a replacement tile

But there is a slight colour miss match. The new tile is a little whiter as you can see in the photo. The shop said they could send me a complete new set of tiles but this is a lot of additional work to tile over or re tile.

My question is. Is it possible to stain the tile a little yellow colour with tea or coffee? To try and match the colour?

Thanks in advance!

Hi tiles are made in batches and have batch numbers so the same tile batch to batch can be darker or lighter, if they have a pattern like the ones you have will have a variety of prints in a box and sometimes what you see on the displays look different when the tiles turn up.

From the photo I can’t really see the colour difference and isn’t possible to stain tiles as they are glazed
