Hey folks,

just a quick message to say hello.

I've recently started my own company doing house renovation work. Including kitchens and bathrooms. Before this, I'd been working with someone for a couple of years doing the same thing and before that I was always doing my own projects at home and for friends and family.

I normally outsource most of the specialist jobs, e.g. plastering, gas works, tricky leccy work and until recently tiling. I always found myself under pressure to get a bathroom ready for the tiler, or trying to actually schedule a tiler at the right time during a project (with very little flexibility) I would say that I'm somewhere between basic and intermediate when it comes to tiling, but I do know my way around some complicated area's.

I always do in depth research before every job to make sure I'm using the right materials for prepping, the right adhesives, the right techniques etc. but there is always so much more to learn and this site kept cropping up every time I had a question about something.
