I've got one Harry, it takes a bit of getting use to if you've been on Windows before hand.
Once you get the hang of them they are a slick machine.
It's worth booking an appointment at the genie bar in an Apple Store to give you a run through in the basics.

If I could afford one, I'd have an iMac in a heartbeat!
But with an iPhone 6+ (7 when I can be bothered to upgrade, as it's due) and an iPad Air, I find it hard to justify that kind of money.

I've never had an iPhone or an iPad and could with a desktop instead of laptop. They're bloody expensive compared to a pc. They look nice though:)

So long as you don't use 'bloatware' (or visit obvious malware type sites) then a good spec PC will be just as good, if not better than a Mac.

People seem to think a PC can be bashed around (through vigorous application working) but they wouldn't bash the Mac the same way - something to do with the cost I suspect.

Just respect your PC, save a few hundred £ and go to PC Specialist or Chillblast and I promise you will have a decent PC that will outrun an iMac. The only benefit that is obvious is that a Mac may hold its resale value better.

Windows PC or Laptop.

"A mac can do this, a mac can do that, a mac do lots of other irrelevant **** just like all other Apple devises and because it made by Apple we'll charge you an additional 50% premium for the name alone and you'll have a bog standard computer that beats a PC at nothing!".

My Laptop was £600. I can play the latest games with high graphics quality, video editing, music production (complete myth that the mac is better than a pc for this), photo editing, CAD, it does the lot.

Said by a true apple hater.
