anybody got experience of using small mosaics, 25mm or so, on a showerlay tray? Marmox say it's ok for domestic use but their official word seems to be 50mm.
Any input welcome as my customer is set on a 25mm mosaic.

Yes that's my concern, the point load. I can't see it being an issue from the human foot but Marmox pointed out something like the customer standing on a chair to change a lamp for eg could cause problems.
So from your experience there's not been an issue?

Was at my own house. Used a wedi board tray. With 25mm travatine mosaics..
Used keraquick adhesive and bal super flex grout. The whole area was tanked out with Ardex. All tiles were sealed before grout and after.
After a few months the grout would not dry out. Then noticed fine cracks in the grout. Water was getting under the tiles.

I would go for a 50mm tile minimum.,

Looks like the better option now.
I like the easy install of the showerlay, light weight, easy cutting etc. I haven't used the showerstone before but ive had a couple of bowed plastic formers in the past and I just don't really like them.
Thanks for all the input guys
