Just about to buy one of these to cut large curves round shower trays etc. Has anyone used it, and does it do the job well in porcelain etc? Many thanks.

Same as plan tec, use a grinder. Mark your cut then make 1-2 mm passes until you get through the tile. Do not try to go too deep with each pass, tour cut profile should look more like a 'v' than a thin cut, this is good.

i always use a grinder, somtimes you dont even have to go right through the tile you can just score with the grinder then snap (depending on the tiles)
