Hello,

I am tiliing a bathroom, for which i put down Dural waterproof membrane, and laid tile over this.
As I approach the end of the job, i am noticing that my last 3 rows require some more height in order to achieve a flat surface.
The membrane is already laid. The area will require around 6-7mm prior to the tiles, which are 20cm in width.

Should I :
1. Just use a larger trowel and more adhesive
2. Lay some self levelling compound (around 3mm) prior to laying the tile (i'm worried that this would be too thin, and adding another layer of different material, but would be the easiest for me to apply and to obtain a level surface)
3. Apply a layer of adhesive with the flat side of a trowel, let it cure, and then lay my tiles?

Bearing in mind this is only for an area of 140cm X 60

Thanks in advance for any advice. I need to complete this job this weekend and i'm not sure which option to take!!

regards,

Claude
