Hi Guys, never used underfloor heating before but I'm doing one this week. Only 3 metre square, loose wire Prowarm on old but good condition floorboards.

The data sheet says no mention as such of Hardiebacker, we have some 6mm insulation boards on site already.

Is it Hardiebacker as normal, then insulation boards, heating wires, slc then tiles? Seems a lot of levels?

Porcelain tiles going down..

So these lightweight insulation boards just get glued and screwed down just like Hardiebacker?
Then heating wires, slc and tiles?

I prime the floorboard, use 6mm trowel and rapidset? Then tape joins?
