Went in on the first day of a job and the render was hanging off the wall so we left a note saying that it cant be tiled and will have to be boarded and got on with the rest of the room. We went in the next day to find a very upset builder, he told me that he would have just tiled over it. 'Once its all grouted and the shower screen is up it wouldnt go anywhere'.

Cant help but marvel at morons like that...

Happens all the time bud! Stick to your guns. let the builder tile it!!

That is what I said. He wouldnt do it so he boarded it. Try and work that one out...:dizzy2:
