How to fill gap between floor tiles and shower

Having had my wooden skirting replaced below our shower with some UPVC, I’m left with a 15mm gap between our floor tiles and the new UPVC skirting.

The bloke that did the job filled it with wall tile grout and it’s cracked and looks pretty bad

Any ideas on how best to fill this gap? Going to have to do a similar job on the bath and will have the same problem only worse!!

Rip it off and install thicker plastic skirting, if that's an option?.
