help please. black grout stains on white plastic trims. - TilersForums.com

anyone got any good advice for cleaning white trims after i have grouted with black grout.
it seems to have stained and wont wipe off with the cleaners i have tried.
my window fitting friend sugested pvc frame cleaner which sounds like a good idea but has anyone use this on these trims before or could someone recommend anything.

The cleaner he mentions is good.

The trim will have scratches on it and the grout would have clung there

upvc frame cleaner is good stuff,about 5 quid a bottle from local supplier i also clean up shower trays with it after installing brings them up really good

I would try some neat white vinegar on a soft cloth wrapped around the finger first, and just make sure you wipe the pvc only. I reckon it would come off a treat Don't get the vinegar on the groutlines, if you do rinse off straight away, otherwise you have more black grout runs..
