If they have painted backs then you need to be using an expoxy adhesive or something like mirror mate....this should be applied to the tiles and not the substrate and pressed into place....normal adhesives can bleed through the paint finish..

just been reading some threads on glass tiles. got to fix some this week. tiles are from B&Q 10x10 im sure they have a kind of greyish back to them. If these tiles need epoxy going to cost a lot more to do the job. so whats best for the customer? whats mirror mate and how much? they want the tiles set in diamond (splashbacks kitchen) will this be acheivable with the cutting. Or will the corners keep chipping? If you use epoxy and spread on with a 4mm trowel will this show through? walls are painted white havnt done a tape test yet on them. do you need to prime before using epoxy? thanks
