Does the whole floor need 40mm to be level with another floor/room or is it just not level and the worst part is 40mm low?

I'm not questioning your estimation I'm curious as to detail, so as PDC queried is the floor a slopping problem or a complete height differential?
Slopping problem, levelled as much as I can and now I'm running out of time. Just thought putting 40mm boards down would be the quickest and cheaper option.

It depends on how much you value your time?
Products like Level max allow you to tile the said area in a matter of hours, you stated you were under pressure for time so I obliged with a soloution, good luck :)

Have you done the maths also? Have you deducted the cost in time and materials involved against my proposal vs the benifits in time?

I've got to build up a floor at home ASAP, as a new kitchen is being delivered on Friday, and it needs to be tiled before then.
Issue is that the floor runs out 40mm so was thinking about using 40mm insulated boards. My usual tile place only stock up to 20mm.
So, any other options? Or where can I get decent 40mm boards quickly?

l would use the 20mm boards where its the deepest then slc with rapid 30 the rest and leave till next day to tile
