How do you finish at a door if you have overboarded with ply or hardie backer?

1.do you leave it for the customer to get a finishing trim?

2.finish using a specialized trim?

3.finish with a nice piece of wood?

4.or other?

I generally offer customer a trim and fit it.:thumbsup:

I sometimes have a piece of hardwood made up if its joining a hardwood floor, but usually a piece of brass/chrome.

always used to supply trim discussed at time of quote mostly wooden the same thickness of the door

i usually ask the customer what they want ie trim nice piece of wood or if theyd prefer me to leave it for them to carpet up to or whatever they choose must say nine times out of ten the want a nice piece of chrome trim i have occasinally used diminishing strip :thumbsup: good post again brian
