I’ve been asked to tile a concrete block wall outside that is currently wet due to the dreadful weather...
The tiles are natural slate in strips that interlock and are glued together .
I’m thinking wait until the block work is dry and prime before tiling with a s2 adhesive
The other side of the wall will be infilled after tiling with stone and topped with soil
What’s the best primer to use as there is a good chance moisture could hold in the blocks after in filling as don’t want the tiles to come off at a later date ...Any ideas or info would be appreciated
Thanks

Wrong time of the year for exterior tiling. A C2 adhesive will suffice and solid bed to avoid voids that can create problems with freeze/thaw.
Would you prime the bocks too? What’s the difference between a c2 and s2 ? As always use a s2 or s1
