Hi.

I am new here and signed up as I'm keen to enter the tiling trade, and was just generally after some advice. I am 20 years old and have no real experience (only occassionly assisting on D.I.Y jobs at home) I have been looking for work in the north london area, whether it be general labouring or an apprenticeship, and have also considered going back to college to learn tiling. Any advice from your experience?

If you are unemployed then you will be able to get funding for a course so i believe. You may as well start now.

I always recommend doing proper training (especially if you can get funding).

Time served trademen with proper qualifications are always sort after.
