Discuss Dunlop Waterproofing Kit in the UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums. The USA and UK Tiling Forum (Also now Aus, Canada, ROI, and more)
My shower is 1200 x 800 in a recess (that is 3 sides will be tiled). Total area being 8sqm.
I can't seem to find any information about what area coverage is provided by the Dunlop Waterproofing kit.
Although the more expensive Bal WP1 kit seems to cover 4.5sqm.
Does anyone know?
The dunlop kit will be fine. You only need go as high as shower head height at most. Really waist down is the most important as long as the corners are well sealed.
Ive used the dunlop kits a few times as my local tile shop sells them. No problems.
What's the best way to apply the stuff? Would it be paintbrush or rollerbrush. If roller, is it the foam ones or the woolly ones?
Thanks
