Think it was fake as the orbiter had as much technology as a modern washing machine (I can use one of these - just dont tell the wife!! - but I am not an astronaut!)

I do know one think for sure though, I was able to stay up late to what full coverage as it was available for the entire mission as and when it happened, including the initial steps onto the moon. Seemed pretty real to me then but i was only 11 at the time!! I see no reason to doubt it was real.

Nah, I think it was Genuine. The attempts previously where the astronaughts lost their lives sort of proves it if nothing else. Unmanned stuff is the future. And I doubt we'll ever find 'life' as such as space is always expanding, and we can see so far away and we've not seen anything yet.

Though I do think it'll be possible one day for us to migrate to another planet, therefore create life on it. And I think the Americans will claim owernship of it too.

Apparently the nearest possible planet that's the most similar to earth is one of the planet's moons that are in our solar system, though I forget which moon and which planet it is.

I love reading up on astronomy though there are that many terms and planet names and numbers to remember I mix them all up lol
