John the tile

Hey up,

Basically a customer is having an external wall in his bathroom tiled. Its back to brick at the moment and he is thinking about having it dry lined with thermal backed plasterboards instead of just normal plasterboards. They are 25mm plus the plasterboard itself. He had his hall stairs and landing done with these and it keeps the heat in his house just lovely so he reckons.

So my question is do you lose much heat through a tiled wall? Im just thinking that the tiles will keep the heat in?????????????

any advice. thanks

I agree with Dave, I reckon the customer should do this if walls are not insulated.
