That's the first thing I thought Geoff, and the cutting head and water feed/power cable trunking is almost identical to the norton.

I'm sure it's a capable cutter but at half the grunt of my dewalt it doesn't pack a lot of watts/£

Have you had a look at the TS73R from Husqvarna?. They dropped the price quite a bit last year so at under £450.00 ex vat its not a bad machine. Has a 1kw motor and a maximum cutting length of 730mm
