Hey all,

Got to rip up a bathroom floor which is floor grade chipboard and got rotten because of a leak, am i alright to replace it straight with 22mm ply? or do i still need to put something under the ply as well.

Simple answer,No, but whats wrong with 18mm..just ripped 18mm t&g out and replaced with 18mm wbp ........

Hi nick..yes 22mm will give a stronger substrate to tile to....don't forget to add noggins inbetween joists..
