Odd, I googled variable speed and it came up with that one but it was an old BandQ page where it was only £33 and in the specs it says
3000-11000rpm
but all stores say not stocked, guesing the offer is off because I end up finding it at £43 but no mention of 3000-11000 BUT the vid shows a speed control but you can not see it on the static picture. Here is a screen shot of the vid . Thanks for the link I shop in toolstation a lot.

All done with my DIY dust cowl and cyclone dust collector with thien baffle, it all worked perfectly and virtually no dust. The in-line collector collected about 12KG of dust - see pictures and in the vacuum there was just about a pint.

The problem is that the black hose attachment has come off from the shroud, this bit -

I used gluesticks but they did last the job out I need a better glue.
Also the baffle is meant to stop dust going up the exit hose to the vacuum but it may of worked but also acted as a shelf to collect dust, I think I will make the curved holes in it bigger. The idea is that it is a round disk under the vacuum hose here it is which is the bottom of the top bucket with the curved holes cut out so the dust on the outside vortex drops through to the lower bucket below.
