Hi..
Got a feeling this will be dissed but thought I'd ask. Its a bathroom with a flat roof above. I was thinking of using porcelain but am open to any ideas to cover as I suspect the removal will be a chore and a half. The property is a development so dont know how long the wall tiles have been up, but judging by the unmodernised state of the rest of the house, I'd say a really good while...10 years and more.
Cheers...

I tried this once many moons ago on a small bathroom floor (less than 2 square meters) at home using Silicone Sealant to stick them down with (collective gasp of horror from all the tilers on thforum) They did stick exceedingly well but after a while they began to crack. I quickly learned that innovation is not always a good idea and had to lift the lot following a cut foot. Cork will I think be too flexible a background and you don't know what's underneath either. Take them up and do it properly.

Yes you can tile on cork just like you can tile on carpet. But dont expect them to stay there for long.

Good on ya for asking 1st.

I would like to know if you can lay CORK tiles on top of cork tiles, if not how do you get the old cork tiles up?
