I'm a total amateur with zero experience but willing to listen and learn. I have a flat to tile - walls and floors etc. I'd like to find someone who can advise me as I go - I can pay a consultant fee etc.

I've got springy chipboard on the floor and a builder has suggested 18mm ply would be good as a base. There is lovely skirting all around and would rather not remove it...

I've been looking at soundproofing products and it would be good to run that past someone..

Is anyone near Southampton and willing to help?
