Big day tomorrow in the life of my eldest boy, he starts reception class (proper primary school), bit sad to think of him as not my little baby anymore! Anybody else got kids starting school for first time?

My boy just started college today, he wanted to go himself, on the bus, alone in the big wide world *sniff they get big quick Hope he enjoys it Doug

My boy starts college next Monday.............gonna take him for the first week. Then he's gonna be going on his scooter :yikes:

That'll be the next thing, scooter / bike ... driving lessons and a car, could have it's benefits

When they start driving it does have benefits ( we have been picked up on nights out by both) but boy can it be scary... Especially when driving for three weeks makes you think you are Lewis Hamilton or the like!

Thanks Doug - My Grandson starts primary school next Tuesday.
The wife was out today getting all the uniform and do you know what - all the long black trousers had gone at M&S. 5 days to go and she leaves it till now.
But he's got his overalls and knee pads though!

My Little Ellie starts at Primary school tomorrow, its the same school that I went to, and if things go as they should my first grandchild should be born tomorrow as well, I know, its a big gap, Ellie will be an aunt at 4 years old. Me a grandad at 43 !!

My youngest is my only left at primary.into p6 tomorrow(aoife).and my next éimear starts secondary.she cant wait.the lads- one left works with me and other in grammar.smart one but girls are smart too.hehe.
