Went to do a quote today in the above. All floors and ceilings had been either raised or lowered but one bedroom was left. The floor had a fall of about 12" with french windows at the bottom of 'the slope'. I had visions of old or drunk people tottering down the slope and out the window!

Thats why there still standing, they move and the lime and wood moves with it. We have a church thats 900 years old with no footings and it's still there:yikes:

I don't think building control had much to do with Katherine Parr's townhouse either. When we go for a pint and watch cricket, "this ole house" is backdrop:thumbsup:

Stangely enough, did one of them this week, somebody in their wisdom boarded over a bathroom window, customer is delighted to have an extra window now!! (sorry no 'priest' hole or skeletons Richard)
