Afternoon chaps

I've got a job coming up and the developer has spec'd the use of lash clips on the floor tiling. The tiles are 600 sq super white polished porcelain, 2mm joints and he wants the clips to be used to ensure no lips/shadows etc. Aprox 200mt area with a huge glass wall and bi-folds etc.
Now I don't normally use them so havn't a clue if they are worth using but he's adamant they are to be used on this job as its spec'd by his client and they will be visiting site so my question to you is....

- What system is the best?
- Is there a nack to it? Wetter adhesive?
- Is it going to slow me down and should I charge more for the faffing about and not just for the clips?

Thanks in advance

No, I can't find a picture Marc but the wedge has a slot, making two legs. The clip is a single piece shaped like a T.
They are thin, never break, and very easy to cramp up by hand.
Best of all, they break off cleanly every time.
Hands down, the best I promise!

Are these the ones you mean Mark?

You never kid about RLS Antonio. 😉
not true, I'm really kidding.
after 9 years of use,
I'm still undecided .... and I think for some tiles
both better raimondi and for others the other brand I use.
if I lay tiles with the edge without bevel
I use others, otherwise raimondi.
here I have to fight with everyone to put 2mm of space,
they always want less, then I only put levelers
and the risk of chipping is high when I remove them.
porcelanosa example for ceramic cladding,
1mm use of the other brand, I'm sure of no chipping.
it is not a question of price, here the difference is almost non-existent between raimondi and other brands, indeed, many times it costs less raimondi.
as you can see I'm still undecided ... :)
ps.
my opinion, raimondi has more strength than all
and faster to remove the next day.
other brands I tried, less strength, no chipping the next day, slower to take off the next day.
cazzo, just missing me tell the ingredients and then
I said everything. :)

That’s why we love you @antonio
Because you are straightforward and honest my friend! 😊👍
unfortunately it's my fault, I always tell the truth ....
I always asked a friend of mine who was stealing:
take me with you once !!!
just a shot, at least € 100,000 !!
he said: I won't take Antonio,
because if the police catch you,
one slap is enough to make you talk
and ten to make you stop.

One Day

It's about time one of these manufacturers started recycling, giving a discount for sending used clips back and save some plastic.. Dragons Den right there 👍
It's not worth it. Like most recycling they'll just cover the cost by making us pay more upfront!

Plus recycled plastic tends to be brittle and low grade. Not exactly what you need with clips

Time's Ran Out

Never ever used clips ,seen a few jobs with few lips still and some of joints bigger than others,

You are never too old to try something new/different!
They will still only be as good as the person using them but for rectified and larger format they are getting the job near too perfect .
