So thought I'd put some pics up of a recently completed intresting commercial job... Various shaped gutters and drains dotted around the two rooms, floor areas totaling 110sqm. Large water bottling and cleaning machines to be fitted in the rooms over the gulley drains, hygienic plastic cladding will be fit to the walls and finished with matching skirting tiles at a later date. All gutters were in place and floors screeded level before I arrived on site. The clients only specification was "no puddles around the machines on the floor at the end of a shift" Agreed with client the need to raise the centre of rooms to allow for falls to drains, raised the centre of rooms using 20mm insulation boards and then feathered in rapidset in between tappered runners gave a good drop where needed, final skim of ultra rapid slc gave a nice flat surface to fix the 200x200 Doti star tiles to. One room was finished with Mapei kerapoxy grout to prevent cleaning chemicals penetrating and delaminating the grout.. I'll get some more pics when I'm back to finish the skirting tiles but theres a few to be getting on with, unfortunately the lighting wasn't the best but can get an idea on the scale of the project..
