a new handle for my old carl damn wash/boy please guys ? its one of the old blue one's ,my helper broke the handle like a spanner when washing it -out with a hose pipe , he was holding it by one end the weight with water in it was to much and the lug at the end of the grey handle snapped off ,but there is nothing wrong with the blue water box just need a new handle ??? i have had it for donkeys years and hate throwing things away that have served me well.......

if you're really nice, i'll send you my handle, as my karl got a hole in it 5 years ago, and I use it for storing stuff.... and my ex lad then, put the metal grate out by a grundon bin, unfortunately in the 10 minutes it was out there, Grundon collected the waste ! and my grate !!

I have nothing to compare it to but, I will say that I'm so impressed with mine (2.5 years of having it now), that I won't even look at another one when I need a new one, Karl Dahm again for me.

I used a Rubi one Bri, a disaster waiting to happen..

is it ruby who do them plastic liners Stef ? cant see the point in them as we wash ours out and re-wash about three times while grouting .......

Someone posted a link on here about a Trim Traders washboy. I ordered one and can't fault it!! For under £20 you can't!!

No Dave think that's the Raimondi one your thinking about.
You have to fill the Rubi one almost to the top as that's where the grate sits & it's not the sturdiest when full you can feel the handle starting to buckle..

I have the KD but lost one of the casters,so tried to get a new set and they where out of stock needed a WB urgent so ended up with the Genesis although very inferior to the KD it has lasted me a while and is still going strong,but have now found my caster so back to the KD.
