Hi- we've had some building work done on our Edwardian House, and with the reconfiguration our hallway floor now needs some work- a continuation of the mosaic pattern, and overall clean and replacement of a few broken tiles. We'd like this work to take place in April/May if possible, and we're looking for a Victorian tile floor specialist to do this work. We have a budget of £1000 and we're looking for someone who can fulfill this job for us within this budget. Many thanks, Kind regards, Nina

Hi and thanks for posting this to our forum.

Do you know the square meterage of tiles needed? And what the floor to be tiled is made up of? And whether the tiles can be sourced still?

They're equivalent to Original Style tiles, in off white and black. There are three sections that need adding to the original floor (we've changed where the doorway into the kitchen is). Two sections measure approx 75 x 17cm, the other 18 x 25cm. We have a loose octagon tile that could be used, and the rest would need to be a combination of white triangles, black squares, black thin and thicker black rectangular border tiles. There are also two small black square tiles that have been clumsily replaced by shiny black ceramic tiles by a previous owner! And then a few random cracked tiles, and an overall clean required of the entire hallway
