Changing my van today, yes the vans a lwb big in, going from swb doblo, but to call and be told its going to cost 300 pound more for the Yr, 10 months to run on it is a total Pxxs take, so voiced my unhappness and jumped online, and to take a new Insurance for a total of 300 pound for the Yr from what was going to end up paying 600 for the Yr, I live in the sticks up north and middle bloody aged and the reason the current insurer said its a lot more powerful, or they for real, total rip off

I rang up recently to get extra cover for new water connections on my cover , I already have cover for remove and refitting toilets, washing machines etc . What they wanted extra was I reckon what they would charge a plumber for the whole year .

Always always shop around. And try not to change your vehicle half way through a year as that's when they have you by the short and curlies.

When the ball is in your court you just ditch them and move on.

its not the value of your van they concerned about its the 60k motor that you might wright off if it was a your fault accident.
