The reason I ask is that I've just discovered mine will run right past a central heating pipe!

The wire will extend 2 foot into the room, but when it passes through the wall (thermostat will be outside of room - just using floor temp not air as well) there's a pipe there slap bang in the way. Sods law!

There's no easy reroute due to the rooms configuration.

Thermostat is Warmup one. It got a brass end cap so suspect its the tip only but not 100% sure so hence post. I wouldnt want the sensor to think the floor is nice and warm due to the central heating pipe when it isnt. :)

Temperature is measuring only sensor (thermistor) which you can put in brass end cap. The rest is just the wire.
