Evening all, I mentioned recently that I was considering taking on an apprentice and in preparation for this I'm going to construct a training syllabus for the successful candidate. I would be grateful if people could add to this list and when I have a comprehensive list of categories I will go into each one in detail. I wil then post this on here and maybe it will be useful for someone else in the future. Ok so far I've got (in no particular order)

Setting out
Adhesive types
Grout types/colours
Cement boards/overboarding in general
Tile types
Trim
Decoupling membranes
SLC
Trowels
Dry cutters
Wet cutters
PPE
Levelling tools (spirit, laser etc)
Patterns
Spacing
Sealers, cleaning and maintenance
Tanking systems
Back skimming
Good housekeeping
Tool maintenance
Conduct around clients
