tiling onto a ceiling

iv been asked to tile onto a ceiling, at first i thought no chance! not having done it befor im not sure if it is done. If it is, were can i get all the standards for specs such as weight per sqrm surfaces and adhesivse.

Thanks dave, wonder how often he sharpens his spurs,

im thinking of recomending a polished plaster, stone effect.
