Find yourself a uPVC window accessory outlet and buy a bag of mixed glass packers. Slivers of plastic varying from .5mm to 2mm in thickness colour coded. Superb aid for tiling when using tiles with varying sizes.

mis-shapen tiles? wedges for me. along with the rack of the eye,

i use them,but like Doug wedges for me.i have cut down some of the large packers to make a dogs tooth tool (2/3 high mosaic run).
