I found these to be VERY material specific.
The one you have is the fine grit, only use it on softer materials.
And I don’t recommend them for cutting either, they’re vacuum braised, so can’t be dressed like a regular disc.
I trashed a fine grade on a hard Florim porcelain, not realising the fine meant it’s for softer material and not abrasive grit.
Within 30 mins of using it, it was done, and they’re expensive, it can still be used for profiling, cutting not so much. :(

Cheers. I have a few of these discs now, a couple of vacuum brazed and a couple of the vanity blades which are electroplated. You’re right, it’s trial and error with these things sometimes. Cheers for the heads up.

Shoved it in a big white plasterers bucket as recommended by a certain thin tile, fat cheques expert, and it cleans the paddle nicely, no fuss! Will retire the wife’s hairbrush now! Think I bought it on a Tuesday but I’ll ask Craig David to be sure!
