I originally asked for 1-2mm grout lines on these tiles.
Presuming you’d need to allow for thermal expansion and good watertight seal. But yesterday builder absolutely assured me (several times) that having no spacers would be fine and because of the natural bevel on the tile there would be enough space to grout. So we ploughed ahead. I’m just concerned that I may be dealing with shallow grout coming out and tiles failing.... what should I do? Am I worrying unnecessarily? He is finishing a small section today and grouting later today...

id say thats wrong..... grout wont stick very well to the glazed bevel. tiles need a gap to expose the side biscuit so grout can adhere to. tubbed adhesive on shower wall? no waterproof membrain?
