I for some reason was never a ford lover, but a mate the other nite lent me his 2012 transit , must say i was well empresses with it! Not that I need new wheels but could be very tempted ! Anyone else on here drive one, and how do you find them , in terms of reliability , driving and parts ! Cheers

Yes , I have 2012 transit trend 115bhp ... Great van , looking to trade in as its 3 yr old now... Going to be the custom transit ..

I have a transit custom 155 330 limited, my first ford and it's a great driving van and it takes 1.5 tons

Used transits for 30 years.

Getting a new one in two months ( coincide with vat quarter)

I've had 7 now, from the old DI 2 litre taxi engine, a 2.3 petrol LPG, through to the 150hp licence loser I have now. In that time, all did well over 120,000 miles and not one ever had a major component fail. Other than tyres, batteries and servicing.
The mk7 I have now seems to suffer from rust in front of the rear wheels and above the windscreen. Other than that it's been a great van.
Will be selling it in two months, looking trade in is about £3000. If anyone wants it, pm me. 2.4 diesel lwb 3.5 ton. 102,000 miles.

Iv got one brilliant van just goes on and on loads of room and carry plenty of weight
I had a vito before and think the transit is so much better.

The only locks I have on the tranny is the drivers door unless they drive away as well.
