Discuss Fair price for wet room repair? in the Tanking and Wetrooms Forum area at TilersForums.com.

Hi all. Our wet room grout is coming out due to movement. Floor shifts 2-3mm when pressure applied. We got a quote for £*** to repair. Do you think this is a reasonable amount? We're in the North West (near Chester).

The £*** covers:
  • Remove old tiles (90cm x 120cm area)
  • Fix the movement
  • Re-waterproof and lay down new tile (excludes cost of new tiles)
The tiler said it would take two people x three days.

Would really appreciate your opinions, please. Cheers in advance.

3 days seems fair. It’s just whether you think the price for two men for three days is acceptable.

Is it possible to get the tradefolk, who installed the wetroom, to fix it considering it is faulty?
