hi guys. i . have a showroom floor to put some epoxy on thats currently tiled..old orange quarry looking tiles.im hoping some 1 can point me in the right direction regarding getting the epoxy to bond to the tiles..apparently tiles are a pain in the bum to lay this on to...some 1 advised this
self levelling compound Tilemaster Adhesives LevelFlex – 20Kg
is there an easier way to get this to adhere like a primer mayb
thanks in advance for any tips

Try get the odd one up in the odd area. If cars have been over them quite a lot test near large doorways etc. If you do manage to get a tile up but it was hard work, stick it back down with cement based adhesive the day you start setting out.

Should find wobbly ones if anything at all maybe.

If it's all fine then acrylic primer before levelling and then primer again before tiling and then epoxy for grouting only maybe?

We are we using it to tile with did I miss that bit?

(I'm not a tiler I'm here to play with your mind)

I did here once epoxy needed a special levelling compound , I think you need to speak to your epoxy supplier as for normal levelling to tiles tilemaster prime and grip but you have to be sure your existing tiles are well bonded

yes thats kinda where im at with it... the suppliers guy said to use
the level flex . compound,,i was just hoping there wouldve been an easier way...
dont want to take a chance of just putting it down for it to fail in 6 months.. cheers lads
