i have 2 buckets left over from an old job and wondered if i can use it for my kitchen floor im tiling. thanks.

No, floor tiles require cement based adhesives in pretty much all cases, chances are your bucket of adhesive isn't cement based therefor can't be used to stick down your new kitchen floor tiles.

Good job you asked really as they just pop-up one by one and you wouldn't have been too impressed with the way they look then.
