Due to the price of diesel i have been considering using bio diesel and i checked out if my van will run on it and yes it will fine with out any affects on the engine apparently.
So i checked out the prices and from a supplier it is still £1.19 ltr which isnt much off a saving per tank but over the year will save quite a bit.
And theres no one within 30 miles off me that supplies it.
So i have looked into making it! besides the hastle it costs approx 15pence per litre to make. SO WHOS MAKING ALL THE PROFIT THEN!!

Has or is anyone else using it? and how much do you pay for it in your area?

would anyone else consider using it?

And if you wouldnt use it full stop what is the reason?

You can actually use other bio fuel.. but driving around smelling of the local fish and chip shop isn't appealing...

The profit goes to the government in tax. If you make your own you're supposed to declare it and pay duty.

just be careful if your van is under warranty it may state warranty is void if that fuel is used
