did you get lost..?

not really. we were using an A-Z map because we don't have an ordnance survey of our local area, and it doesn't really show up the undulations in the landscape. what we thought would be a nice fairly level walk ended up being quite up and down. and then to top it all, we thought we would be able to short cut along a public footpath, only to find the council had closed the footpath due to regeneration works (no signs warning of this) and we had to detour.. quite a long way :thumbsdown:
