Limestone Garden Chelsea
O
This is my entry for Aug JOTM.
It was a limestone garden in Chelsea London
The stone is Beteige Beige and 20mm thick.
It was quite challenging given the state of the garden to begin with, as u can see from the first few images, lots of fun!
It included one patio area far end of the garden and one at the house with steps and stair well and a new terrace above the kitchen.
Also a Kitchen floor in porcelain with insulation boards, UFH, and SLC.

All the levelling and smoothing outside was done with Adesilix P4 and Bal's Acrybase.
All laid on Ditra Drain 4&8
Ditra Drain was laid with Keraquick and latex plus.
Terrace was tanked using Mapelastic.
Stone was laid with Keraflex
Grout was UCP limestone.
Sealed with Stain Stop.

6mm insulation boards to kitchen floor
Devimat UFH
Tilemaster Levelflex SLC
Tilemaster Setaflex adhesive
UCP Beige Grout.

All the bullnoses were fabricated on site using only my Flex grinder polisher with Sait pads and finished by hand.
No profiling tool was used!

The last picture is of the terrace and as u can see it shows the stone only loose laid, it is not stuck down yet unfortunately, but I thought it would be nice to show the walk on glass and the view into the kitchen. It's 35mm thick!

Oh and the three missing tiles in the kitchen, yeah these were stolen from site by two visiting 'Tradesman!' Very thoughtful, 6 week lead on replacements.
