I found a sigma 2G cheap on eBay, "never used brand new tile cutter" £55, so bought it as thought it was a good price.

After receiving it, it was clear it had been used, but more annoyingly, it rocks quite badly from side to side, surely this isn't normal?

Spoke to the seller who said it must have been damaged in transit and would need to claim off Royal Mail... yeah, good luck with that.

Regardless of damage by Royal Mail, it's not new in any case, so I'm well within my rights to put a claim in, in my opinion.

The 2G does rock as its a very thin base.
I will pull mine out the can & check but I'm sure that's normal.
It would need to have been flung about to get damaged as they are robust.

You can configure a Sigma to negate all those issues ;)
Even a carry box :)

Not seing exactly where the wheel touches the tile is a problem
For me, I like to be able to see that point of contact
