Hi, We are redoing our main bathroom and looking for a second opinion on tanking. We have bought the following mapei tanking kit and plan to use it on all 4 walls after removing the old tiles.

All the walls are solid brick and we will be tiling all walls.

1) Is okay to just tank around the bath and shower area? instead of tanking all walls?
2) We will be using click tiles on the wood floor boards. Do we need to tank the floor?

Thanks
