Recently cleaned this one up and I couldn’t help have respect and amazement for those old Victorian tilers.
It’s tiled in 2.5 cm squares tiled directly onto the screed and straight and flat as anything.
I recently did a couple of thresholds in these tiles and it’s the fiddliest work ever.

Someone spent months doing this job back in the day I bet.
