Please checkout the following advertisement.
Need to tile my vestibule but theres a large 5 by 4 inch deep gap behind the door that someone has previously filled with wood and expanding foam.

What would be best to fill this gap with ready for tile?

First thought was just cement but prob would create a rising damp issue there I guess.

I just used Blue Circle Quick Repair Concrete on a similar trench in floor and it worked a treat, would recommend.

Not sure why l got a dislike ? above, for suggesting an aqueous bitumen solution could be used instead of a physical dpc as first suggested, it’s mainly used as a tanking and dpc membrane, usually requiring two or three coats.
