Wall panels in shower room - Tile Advice

I am building an extension which has a ground floor shower room. So I looked at differerent types of panels and reckon that the Bushboard Nuance are what I want. The shower is 1200x800 with a window in the 1200 end and going to panel the toilet and basin wall, so five in total. These panels are expensive at £215 each, is the best price I have found from a local plumber merchants.
For the colour matched sealant how do you calculate the number of tubes required as they are pricey as well.
Tried IDS in Swindon and they are more expensive and other places are more as well.
Any tips for getting a better price?

Once you’ve chosen which sealant you require, search out its pdf, and it’ll give you consumption per linear metre.

Don’t they say one tube of adhesive per board? There silicone I wouldn’t of thought you would need more than a couple of tubes, the joints, corners and around the shower tray.

Ok so confusion setting in John.
You’re mentioning adhesive and sealant and tube all in one sentence here.
Can you clarify for me please.
You were asking about consumption of colour matched silicone to seal the transitions weren’t you?
Where did adhesive come from? Haha
Typically, two tubes of colour matched silicone would do the whole room and possiblygive them a spare tube for future issues.
If your on about sticking these wall panels, I’ve only done a couple, and we used CT1 it’s not something I’ve dealt with in any depth.

I’m sure Bushboard supply there own adhesive to stick the boards to the wall. I think they say one tube of adhesive per board. If you use CT1 and anything goes wrong I’m bet they would say you should of used there adhesive.
There colour matched silicone is only for sealing around all the edges and for the tongue and groove joints. So I would say a couple of tubes.

Bushboard are known for being meticulous in checking any claims and refusing to payout if any other products are used. Having said that it is by far the best board on the market and doesn't need its own products to work well unlike others.

Thanks you for your responses.
Bushboard suggest using colourless adhesive to fix the boards to the walls and a colour matched sealant to seal the visible joints. They take the view that if you buy the sealant in the same order as the boards then the warranty is valid.

Personally I would just use what they recommend. I’ve just helped my dad do one, I can’t recall the brand but the colour matched stuff for sealing the corner etc wasn’t silicone it was much superior.

Have just recently fitted these boards to a shower area (1,700mm x 750mm). Had 4 boards but used about 3 and a half as the shower end was panelled beyond the tray.

The tubes of adhesive and sealant in one were supplied with the panels, 8 in total and could have done with one more. Personally I would allow at least 2 per panel plus 1 to seal up. Was weary about using it to seal (its a bit like sticks like/the works) but with some soapy water tooled pretty neat with a finishing tool. Had to use it as guaranteed for so many years.

Just like tiling, adhesive coverage depends on substrate, how flat/plumb.. Etc but better to go belt and braces given the cost of the panels. Do like the Nuance ones as no chace of rotting/warping as made from some composite material.

That is very helpful. Thank you. Bushboard suggest white spirit to clean off excess. I spoke to Bushboard regarding the substrate and they advised against fixing to studding unless in extremis, she then went onto say the substrate they design it for is plasterboard plus PVA seal...!

You can tool up the sealant easily I found with no soapy water

Does anyone know if it's OK for me to apply a coat of watered down emulsion to the newly plastered walls prior to fixing the nuance panels
